An adjacent frt-flanked puromycin selection cassette was removed via FLP-mediated recombination in the germline. Subsequent germline Cre-mediated recombination resulted in the complete deletion of the gene. Deletion of miR-10b did not alter the expression of Hoxd4 and Hoxd3 host/adjacent genes. (J:236858)
