• Mutation details: The L1L2_Bact_P cassette was inserted, in reverse (gene) orientation, at position 6377006 of Chromosome 11 downstream of exon 5 (Build GRCm39). The cassette is composed of an FRT site followed by lacZ sequence and a loxP site. This first loxP site is followed by a neomycin resistance gene under the control of the human beta-actin promoter, SV40 p(A) signal sequences, a second FRT site and a second loxP site. A third loxP site is inserted, in reverse (gene) orientation, into intron 3 at position 6379646. Exons 4-5 are thus flanked by loxP sites. A conditional-ready allele was created by removing the lacZ-neo cassette through subsequent Flp-mediated recombination. (J:288671)
