Mutation details: The Kat6b locus was targeted twice to generate this allele. The first targeting vector was designed to flank flanking exon 2, containing the ATG site, with loxP sites. Resulting mice containing the floxed allele were containing Kat6btm1Avo allele was used to generate the ES cells. The second target is to flank Kat6b exons 11-12 with loxP sites in the Kat6b. An FRT- and loxP-flanked neomycin resistance cassette was also inserted.
