description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsTargeting vector HTGRS01000_A_A12 from IKMC Project 38364 consisting of the L1L2_Bact_P cassette composed of an FRT site followed by lacZ sequence and a loxP site, a neomycin resistance gene under the control of the human beta-actin promoter, SV40 polyA, a second FRT site, a second loxP site, and a third loxP site that is inserted downstream of the targeted exon 2 at position 100647145 was injected into 129 ES cells. The critical exon 2 is thus flanked by loxP sites. The lacZ and neomycin resistance gene were removed via flp-mediated recombination generating a conditional ready exon 2 floxed allele. (J:250117)
