Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe targeting vector was designed to insert loxP sites flanking exons 3-5, encoding part of the N-terminal ING domain and the nuclear localization signal, of the inhibitor of growth family, member 5 (Ing5) gene, and a frt-flanked neomycin resistance (neo) cassette was also inserted downstream of the 5' loxP site. FLPe-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:345308)
