Mutation details: Aspartic acid codon 504 (GAC) in exon 10 was changed to asparagine (AAC) (p.D504N) and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette was inserted into intron 10. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent Flp-mediated recombination. The mutation renders the encoded peptide resistant to cleavage by caspase 3.
