Mutation details: Cysteine codon 265 (TGC) was changed to serine (TCC) (p.C265S) and an FRT and loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette was inserted downstream of the gene. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent Flp-mediated recombination. The mutation blocks S-nitrosylation of the residue in the encoded peptide.
