Mutation detailsSerine codons 86 in exon 3 (TCC) and 274 (AGT) and 421 (TCA) in exon 4, and threonine codon 308 (ACC) in exon 4 were changed to alanine (GCT, GCT, GCA, GCC) (p.S86A, p.S274A, p.S421A, p.T308A) and a loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette was inserted into intron 3. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent Cre-mediated recombination. The mutations prevent activity-induced phosphorylation of the affected residues in the encoded peptide. (J:342941)
