Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThis allele was generated at The Jackson Laboratory by electroporating Cas9 protein and 2 guide sequences CACTAACCTGCCCTACCCCA and ATACAAGTGATACAGAACCT, which resulted in a 320 bp deletion beginning at Chromosome 9 position 65,503,339 bp and ending after 65,503,658 bp (GRCm38/mm10). This mutation deletes ENSMUSE00000246940 (exon 12) and 172 bp of flanking intronic sequence including the splice acceptor and donor and is predicted to cause a change of amino acid sequence after residue 367 and early truncation 76 amino acids later.
