Exon 2, the first coding exon, was modified by changing glycine codon 12 (GGT) to valine (GTA) (p.G12V). The allele will only be expressed after Flp-mediated removal of the hygro-STOP cassette. The mutation is the equivalent of the same human mutation found in lung adenocarcinoma. (J:334559)
