origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:339154
Parent Cell Line:  E14K (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129P2/OlaHsd
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsTwo loxP sites were introduced into intron 22 and one site was introduced into intron 23. A LacZ-PGK-Neomycin resistance selection cassette was inserted in an antisense orientation to Inpp4a transcription between the two lox sites in intron 22. The selection cassette was subsequently removed in the germline via Cre-mediated recombination. (J:339154)
