Mutation details: Using the CRISPR/Cas9 method, a targeting construct consisting of a CAG-loxP/STOP/loxP-murine Mecom cDNA followed by IRES-EGFP-pA fusion gene inserted into intron 1 of the ROSA26 locus into the Ai9 plasmid, was injected into 6NK7 embryonic stem cells. Mecom and EGFP are expressed after recombination by Cre recombinase driven by the CAG promoter. The lines containing this allele showed a high recombination rate.
