Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThis transgene was created by coinjection of two overlapping genomic fragments: an NcoI-NcoI restriction fragment containing sequence 5' to and 3' from the Atoh1 coding sequence and a BglII-BglII fragment containing the last ~400 bp of coding sequence and 6 kb 3' of the coding region. The coding sequence between the first ~2.5 kb and the last ~1.5 kb was replaced in-frame with the beta-galactosidase reporter gene (without NLS sequence). (J:60854)
