Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Humanized sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsExon 4 was replaced with human exon 4 and 5' sequences from human exon 5 were added to the 5' end of mouse exon 5. This replaces mouse amino acid sequence DAENI with its human counterpart GNEEMGGITQT, which encodes a common epitope recognized by anti-human CD3E antibodies. A loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette was inserted in intron 4 and was subsequently removed via Cre-mediated recombination. (J:331729)
