• Mutation details: The loxP and 0.5 kb of N' term exon 24b followed by FRT-Neo-FRT cassette in reverse orientation and additional loxP followed by the remaining exon 24b exon sequences with the cytosine at 2632 of Dnmt3a converted to thymine (R878C which is homologous to human DNMT3A R882C mutation found in some patient with acute myeloid leukemia) by site-directed mutagenesis replaced the endogenous Dnmt3a exon 24b locus by homologous recombination in the ES cells. The neo cassette was removed by crossing to Flp deleter. (J:323396)
