Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready, Epitope tag, Inserted expressed sequence, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe CAG-a loxP site flanked neo-Westphal stop-FLAG-mouse Irs2 cassette followed by an FRT site-framed IRESeGFP expression cassette were inserted into ROSA26 locus via homologous recombination in the ES cells. In presence of cre recombinase, a loxP site flanked neo-Westphal stop sequence is removed to allow expression of FLG epitope-tagged mouse Irs2 driven by CAG promoter. Expression of flp recombinase removes FRT site-framed IRESeGFP. (J:318815)
