Mutation details: A single loxP site was introduced into intron 3 and a floxed PGK-neo cassette was introduced downstream of exon 7 through homologous recombination. Cre-mediated recombination removed the loxP-flanked neomycin cassette leaving a single loxP site downstream of exon 7. Selected mice retained loxP sites flanking exons 4-7.
