Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe targeting construct targetted into the locus a nuclear localized mKateV5 (nlsmKateV5) followed by a rabbit globin polyA sequence cloned between ROX recombination sites downstream of a CAGGS promoter. An FRT-pGK Neo-FRT cassette was also inserted in the construct, but it was removed by breeding mice to Flpe expressing mice. It is a fluorescent Dre-reporter allele in which upon execution of Roxed stop cassette, the fluorescent mKate can be visualized in the cells. (J:232545)
