description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsA bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC: RP23-62H1) containing the entire coding region of the mouse Ghrl gene and nearly 59.36 kb sequence upstream of the start codon and ~103.65 kb downstream of the stop codon was modified by inserting a humanized Renilla reniformis GFP (hrGFP) sequence into the translational start site of the gene removing the first 29bp of the coding sequence. Five lines were made and one line named hrGFP10 was used for the studies. (J:210220)
