Mutation details: The targeting construct introduced into the locus a splice acceptor, FRT site, neomycin resistance cassette, polyadenylation sequence, FRT site, tdTomato, stop cassette, and a series of 20 reporter genes interspersed with ten loxP sites in alternating orientation spaced 178 bp apart. The intervening nine DNA blocks are composed of unique sequences based on the AT2G21770 gene from Arabidopsis thaliana.. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette.
