Endonuclease-mediated Allele Detail
Symbol: Thap12em1(IMPC)J
Name: THAP domain containing 12; endonuclease-mediated mutation 1, Jackson
MGI ID: MGI:6460295
Gene: Thap12  Location: Chr7:98352310-98367269 bp, + strand  Genetic Position: Chr7, 53.86 cM, cytoband F1
Strain of Origin:  C57BL/6NJ
Project Collection: IMPC
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion
Mutation detailsThis allele was generated at The Jackson Laboratory by electroporating Cas9 protein and 2 guide sequences CTTTGTTAATGTTCTATTAG and CCTTGTATATTTTCTTAAAA, which resulted in a 3412 bp deletion beginning at Chromosome 7 position 98714706 bp and ending after 98718117 bp (GRCm38/mm10). This mutation deletes ENSMUSE00000265800 (exon 5) and 331 bp of flanking intronic sequence including the splice acceptor and donor and is predicted to cause a change of amino acid sequence after residue 118 and early truncation 2 amino acids later. (J:188991)
Inheritance:    Not Specified
