Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Not Applicable)
Mutations:    Insertion, Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsA lysine to alanine missense mutation at amino acid 607 (K607A) was inserted into exon 9 and a loxP-flanked PGK-neomycin resistance gene cassette was inserted into intron 8. The selection cassette was removed via cre-mediated recombination. This mutation corresponds to the human K619A mutation that abrogates BARD1 recognition of PAR. (J:269011)
