Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsA KOMP project targeting vector was used to generate mutant mice. A loxP and frt-flanked lacZ gene and neomycin selection cassette was inserted upstream of exon 1 and a single loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 3. FLP-mediated recombination removed the lacZ gene and neomycin selection cassette, leaving lozP sites flanking exons 1-3. (J:270808)
