Strain of Origin:  (C57BL/6NJcl x DBA/2NJcl)F2
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsCRISPR/Cas9 technology generated a 20 bp deletion (5-TCGTCCACCGCGGCTTTTTG-3) in the first exon. The sgRNA sequence used for microinjection was 5'-GAGAAGGCAAAAAGCCGCGG-3' for the first exon. The deletion causes a frameshift mutation leading to a premature termination codon after the 17th amino acid. (J:279308)
