Endonuclease-mediated Allele Detail
Symbol: Crcpem1(IMPC)J
Name: calcitonin gene-related peptide-receptor component protein; endonuclesae-mediated mutation 1, Jackson
MGI ID: MGI:6201600
Gene: Crcp  Location: Chr5:130058147-130089628 bp, + strand  Genetic Position: Chr5, 68.42 cM
Strain of Origin:  C57BL/6NJ
Project Collection: IMPC
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion
Mutation detailsThis allele was generated at The Jackson Laboratory by electroporating Cas9 protein and 2 guide sequences CTATCTGAAATTGCTAACCA and CATGGTTCTTCAGGGAAGCG, which resulted in a 339 bp deletion beginning at Chromosome 5 position 130,034,769 bp and ending after 130,035,107 bp (GRCm38/mm10). This mutation deletes ENSMUSE00001206342 (exon 2) and 302 bp of flanking intronic sequence including the splice acceptor and donor and is predicted to cause a change of amino acid sequence after residue 3 and early truncation 4 amino acids later.
