• Mutation details: A construct consisting of the human beta actin promoter followed by the cDNA for Wld^s that is an in-frame fusion of exon 1 and 2 of Ube4b to exon 2 onwards of Nmnat1, was injected into the pronuclei of fertilized (C57BL/6 x CBA)F1 eggs that do not express Wld^s. Four lines were established (4830, 4836, 4839 and 4858) and expression levels of this transgene varied from considerably lower than to similar to that of Wld^s in the C57Bl/6Ola strain. (J:72936)
