Mutation details: The transgene contains the rearrangement found a CD4+ Th1 clone (9.1-2) isolated from mice immunized with soluable antigens of Leishmania major. This clones expressed Valpha8.2A-JalphaTA72 and Vbeta4-Dbeta1-Jbeta1.6. The Tcra chain was completed by adding a 9 kb fragment of Calpha containing containing 0.8 kb of upstream intron, the entire coding region, and the downstream enhancer to the 3 end of the promoter-V-J-intron construct. The Tcrb chain was completed by appending a Cbeta1 and downstream-chain enhancer construct to the 3 end of the promoter-V-D-J-intron. One of three founders was used to generate the line. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled.
