Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsUsing RecE-RecT recombination, the YFP coding sequence was inserted immediately upstream of the stop codon and a loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette was inserted 3' of the locus. Subsequent cre-mediated recombination deleted the neo cassette. This creates a gene coding for a fusion protein between the target and YFP. (J:112660)
