description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsA lacZ gene and loxP-flanked neomycin resistance cassette was inserted in-frame into the endogenous locus. RT-PCR analysis on RNA derived from homozygous embryos showed that a transcript from this allele is undetectable. A complete loss of encoded protein was shown with antibodies to both the N and C terminus of the protein. (J:226733)
