• Mutation details: A full-length aP2 promoter/enhancer, which is adipose tissue-selective and active during fat cell differentiation, drives the expression of a human full length CIDEA cDNA. Four lines were generated including 13, 67, 76 and 85. In two transgenic lines (lines 76 and 85), human Cidea was expressed at levels lower than the levels of mouse Cidea in brown fat. (J:222846)
