Mutation details: A transgenic mouse cDNA construct encoding the signal sequence and C-terminal endostatin part of the type alpha1(XVIII) chain was expressed under the control of the human K14 promoter. Three transgenic founders, K18, G20, and J4, were obtained. Expression in line J4 was the strongest and was studied further.
