Parent Cell Line:  Not Specified (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S4/SvJae
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready, Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer:    tamoxifen
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsA targeting vector was designed to insert (from 5 to 3) a CAG promoter, a frt-flanked CreERT2 (Cre recombinase fused to an estrogen receptor ligand binding domain) coding sequence, and an attB/attP-flanked neomycin (neo) resistance cassette downstream of the collagen A1 (Col1a1) promoter. PhiC31-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:101977)
