Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Not Specified)
Mutations:    Insertion, Single point mutation

Mutation detailsThe coding sequence was replaced with a cDNA with a G to A point mutation that results in an amino acid substitution of lysine for glutamic acid at position 359 (E359K). Cre-mediated recombination removed a floxed neomycin resistance cassette inserted upstream of the modified cDNA. Western blot analysis revealed a similar expression of FEN1 in wild-type and homozygous mutant mice. (J:218627)
