description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready, No functional change)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsAn FRT-flanked PGK-neomycin cassette and loxP site were introduced to intron 3 and a loxP site was placed in intron 4 via homologous recombination. The neomycin cassette was excised from resultant mice through crosses with a Flp recombinase-expressing strain, leaving exon 4 flanked by loxP sites. Diptheria toxin was also a component of the targeting vector, but was also excised. (J:101977, J:207976)
