Mutation details: The transgenic construct contains a 2.1kb human KRT14 promoter directing a fusion protein consisting of the murine immunoglobulin k chain V-J2-C signal peptide, a truncated membrane bound ovalbumin (mOVA) cDNA fragment (200-1167), and sequence encoding the transmembrane domain of human platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR). RT-PCR analysis demonstrated mOVA expression in skin, but not in brain, thymus, lymph nodes, heart, liver, spleen, kidney, intestine, skeletal muscles or esophagus.
