Allele Detail
Symbol: Cd72c
Name: CD72 antigen; c haplotype
MGI ID: MGI:5563235
Gene: Cd72  Location: Chr4:43447724-43454720 bp, - strand  Genetic Position: Chr4, 23.04 cM
Strain of Origin:  various
Allele Type:    Not Applicable
Mutation:    Not Applicable
Mutation detailsThis serological allele is recognized by epitopes 3. Sequence differences between the haplotypes (a, b and c) largely result in amino acid variation in the extracellular domains. The c haplotype contains a 7 amino acid deletion in the C-type lectin-like domain. However, the amino acid sequence of the transmembrane domain and cytoplasmic region is identical to the other hapotype alleles (a, b and d). This allele was identified in the strains AKR, MRL and SJL. (J:1507, J:23623)
