description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Inducible, Inserted expressed sequence, Reporter)
Inducer:    doxycycline/tetracycline
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThis mouse contains a bidirectional TetO-regulated gene inserted into a disabled Rosa26 locus. In one direction the tetO/CMV promoter drives expression of CFP (cerulean). In the other direction it drives Ngn3. Mice containing this allele can be used to inducibly express Ngn3 when interbred with either a rtTA or tTA transgene. (J:94077)
