• Mutation details: A genomic clone containing the three linked fibrinogen genes was used to generate transgenic mice. Three lines of mice were created. Steady state levels of fibrinogen mRNA in liver of transgenic mice was shown to be 2.1-3.5 greater than in controls. A single copy of the transgene was inserted in this line. (J:118353)
