Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready)
Mutation:    Insertion     Vector: L1L2_Bact_P

Mutation detailsThe L1L2_Bact_P cassette was inserted at position 25168608 of Chromosome 17 upstream of the critical exon(s) (Build 37). The cassette is composed of an FRT site followed by lacZ sequence and a loxP site. This first loxP site is followed by neomycin resistance gene under the control of the human beta-actin promoter, SV40 polyA, a second FRT site and a second loxP site. A third loxP site is inserted downstream of exon 7 at position 25169359. Exon 7 is thus flanked by loxP sites. Expression of flp recombinase excised the lacZ reporter sequence and the neomycin selection cassette leaving exon 7 flanked by loxP sites. (J:148605, J:173534, J:181533)
