Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion     Vector: ZEN-Ub1

Mutation detailsThe insertion of Velocigene cassette ZEN-Ub1 created a deletion of size 749bp between positions 135093108-135093856 of Chromosome 5 (Build GRCm39). Droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) analysis confirmed that Dnajc30 expression was severely reduced in homozygous mutant mice. (J:136110, J:266469)

Notes
Cell lines 16795A-A9 and 16795A-F1 were successfully used to make chimeric mice. Germline transmission was accomplished. J:266469

Two independent lines of knockout mice were created from ES cell clones 16795A-F1 (line 1) and 16795A-A9 (line 2). Both lines exhibited similar patterns of expression and gross phenotypes. J:266469 focused primarily on line 2 generated from clone 16795A-A9.
