Mutation details: A transgene was designed with the human doublecortin (DCX) promoter/enhancer regions upstream of a CreERT2 fusion gene (Cre-ERT2; Cre recombinase fused to a G400V/M543A/L544A triple mutation of the human estrogen receptor ligand-binding domain). This transgene was microinjected into the pronucleus of C57BL/6J zygotes. Transgenic mice from a single founder line were bred to C57BL/6J mice.
