Mutation details The Ple155-lacZ transgene (pEMS1626) was designed with the 1652 bp Ple155 minipromoter (PCP2-B; derived from a portion of the upstream promoter of the PCP2 gene (prior to exon 1) and the downstream second promoter of the PCP2 gene (prior to exon 2) from the Purkinje cell protein 2 (PCP2) gene) upstream of a frt-flanked beta-galactosidase (lacZ) gene, an SV40 early polyA signal, and a human HPRT complementary sequence (containing exon1, intron1, exon2, and part of intron2). This construct was targeted as a single copy knockin to the Hprtb-m3 mutant locus on the X chromosome. (J:144244, J:164356)
