Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion     Vector: L1L2_Bact_P

Mutation detailsThe insertion of the L1L2_Bact_P cassette created a deletion of size 2999 starting at position 95033123 and ending at position 95036122 of Chromosome 3 (Genome Build GRCm39). This deletion results in the removal of functionally critical exon(s). The cassette is composed of an FRT site followed by lacZ sequence and a loxP site. This first loxP site is followed by a neomycin resistance gene under the control of the human beta-actin promoter, SV40 polyA, a second FRT site and a second loxP site. (J:148605, J:173534, J:236433)

Notes
RNAi depletion of Tmod1 from either wild-type or Tmod4tm1(KOMP)Wtsi homozygous mutant muscle fibers leads to thin filament elongation by ~15%, indicating that Tmod1 per se, rather than total sarcomeric Tmod levels, regulates thin filament length in mouse skeletal muscle (J:236433).
