Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:150327
Parent Cell Line:  R1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (129X1/SvJ x 129S1/Sv)F1-Kitl+
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe gene is truncated after exon 13. It contains a single FRT site and a single loxP site in the remaining exon 13-proximal segment of intron 13. Immunoblot analysis fails to detect the a3 subunit of vacuolar-type ATPase (V-ATPase), which is encoded by the endogenous gene, in liver lysates of homozygous mutant mice. (J:150327)
Inheritance:    Recessive
