Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThis transgene consists of human CYP2J2 cDNA cloned into a vector containing the mouse alpha-MHC promoter and human growth hormone intron and polyA sequence to drive cardiomyocyte-specific expression of the transgene. Six germline founder mice lines, Tr2, Tr3, Tr4, Tr5, Tr6, and Tr7 were generated. Of those 6 germline founders, 4 lines, Tr2, Tr3, Tr5, and Tr7 had abundant cardiac expression of the transgene. Heterozygous transgenic progeny of each of these four overexpressing lines were analyzed and data are presented as a pool of all four lines. (J:101489)
