Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe CAG promoter was used to drive expression of a fusion protein composed of monomeric Azami-Green (mAG) and the sequence encoding amino acid residues 1-110 of human Geminin (GMNN). mAG is a modified monomeric form of a fluorescent protein derived from the stony coral (Galaxeidae). The transgene construct causes green fluorescence in cells in the S through M stages of the cell cycle. Eight lines were identified. (J:146883)
