Mutation details: An Engrailed-2 splice acceptor was fused to the encephalomyocarditis virus internal ribosomal entry site (IRES) and place upstream of a lacZ-neomycin fusion reporter that had been modified by the insertion of a Tn903 promoter between the lacZ and the neo. This was followed by an SV40 polyadenylation signal and a Hygro reporter cassette under the control of an SV40 promoter. This construct was flanked by loxP sites and targeted into intron 3.
