description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(TcraR28,TcrbR28)KRNDim expresses 2 genes

Mutation detailsThe sequences of the variable regions of the TCR alpha and beta chains of the R28 hybridoma with rearranged Va4Ja27 and Vb6Jb1.5 genomic DNA fragments were amplified and cloned into TCR expression cassettes. Transgene-derived clones are transcribed under the control of the natural TCR alpha and -beta promoter/enhancer elements. A single founder (KRN) in which TCRalpha and Tcrbeta transgenes were cointegrated was identified. These constructs together express a T cell receptor that recognizes the 41-61 peptide of bovine pancreas ribonuclease (RNase) in the context of Ak. (J:36815)
