• Mutation details: Exons 5 and 6 coding for the Cd79b cytoplasmic domain were flanked by loxP sites and followed by a duplicated exon 5 carrying a premature stop codon. An frt-flanked IRES-EGFP cassette was cloned downstream of the duplicated exon 5. The neo cassette was removed by cre-mediated recombination. Crossing these mice with the appropriate cre mouse results in deletion of the original exons 5 and 6. The EGFP reporter expression will occur from the recombined allele. (J:109583)
