• Allele Type: Gene trapped (Null/knockout, Reporter)
• Mutation: Insertion of gene trap vector
• Mutation details: The insertion of the VICTR48 vector into intron 1 resulted in the splicing of 5' exonic sequences to a neomycin resistance cassette. The vector contained long terminal repeats, neo-pA, BTK and additional LTR sequence. The final product was a fusion of exon 1 and the neo. Protein expression was not detected in mutant embryos.
